Problem

Dana Pensiun Bank Sumsel Babel required a robust and modern online platform to centralize communication, enhance transparency, and provide critical information access for its members. The existing digital presence needed an upgrade to better serve member needs, reduce administrative queries, and offer interactive tools, such as pension benefit simulations, in a user-friendly manner.

To develop a highly interactive, communicative, and transparent company profile website that empowers Dana Pensiun BSB members with easy access to important information, a valuable pension benefit calculation simulation tool, and real-time updates, thereby improving overall member satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Research & Discovery

I initiated this project with a comprehensive analysis of the client’s existing communication channels and member needs. This involved identifying key information members frequently seek and understanding the limitations of previous platforms. The strategy focused on leveraging WordPress CMS for its flexibility and ease of content management, ensuring that the new website would not only be visually appealing but also highly functional, scalable, and intuitive for both members and the Dapen BSB team. A user-centric design approach was adopted to streamline navigation and access to financial tools.

Role & Contributions

I was responsible for the end-to-end development of the Dana Pensiun BSB website. My contributions included customizing the WordPress CMS to meet specific client requirements, developing bespoke HTML, CSS, and JavaScript components for unique functionalities (such as the pension simulation), ensuring cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness, and optimizing website performance for a smooth user experience. I managed the entire development lifecycle, from initial wireframing and design implementation to deployment and testing.

Future enhancements could include member login portals for personalized statements, online forms for claims and inquiries, or integration with existing internal systems to further streamline operations and member services.
